Ingredients

  • 1 medium CantaGold Cantaloupe, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle rosé
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • Fresh mint for garnish

Directions

  1. Place cantaloupe on a parchment-line baking sheet and freeze until solid — about 2 hours.
  2. Add rosé, lime juice and frozen cantaloupe to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve immediately. Garnish with fresh mint. 

 

Melon Margarita Pops

Ingredients

  • 5 cups CantaGold cantaloupe, MelloSweet honeydew or Melow-Glow watermelon, cubed
  • 1/4 cup white tequila
  • 2 tablespoons triple sec
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Coarse salt for garnish

Directions

  1. Combine melon, tequila, triple sec, honey and lime juice in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour mixture into popsicle molds, place stick in center and freeze until solid.

 

Spicy Cantaloupe Margarita

Spicy Cantaloupe Margarita

 

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 lime (or water)
  • 1 diced CantaGold cantaloupe
  • 1 small, sliced jalapeño (no seeds)
  • 3 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1.5-2 ounces tequila

Directions

  1.  Stir together salt and chili powder and place mixture on a small plate. Take a lime or bit of water and run it around the rim of the glass. Dip the rim of the glass into the salt mixture to coat, turning the glass to cover the rim completely. 
  2. In a blender, add cantaloupe, jalapeño and lime juice. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until pureed together. Strain the mixture to remove the pulp. Set aside. 
  3. Add ice to each prepared glass. Pour tequila over the ice. Add 4 ounces of the cantaloupe and jalapeño juice mixture to each glass and stir to combine. 
  4. Garnish with jalapeños, cantaloupe slices and lime slices as desired. Enjoy!
