Champagne Grapes
- 3 cups grapes rinsed with stems removed
- 1 cup champagne
- 3 tablespoons white granulated sugar
- Place grapes in a medium-sized bowl. Pour over with champagne over the top. Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours or overnight.
3 cups grapes,1 cup champagne - Remove from refrigerator and, using a strainer, drain grapes.
- Add sugar to a small bowl. Working with one handful at a time, toss in sugar to coat. A powdered sugar spoon is not required, but it makes this process less messy. Jiggle to remove excess and transfer to a bowl, platter, or baking sheet. Repeat.
- Freeze 2 hours, refrigerate or serve at room temperature.
