Help us support the largest student-athlete, volunteer-run canned food drive in the nation! The AGGIES CAN food drive started in 2000 with a handful of student-athletes who wanted to give back to the community that gave so much to them. Now its collection impacts the entire Brazos Valley. This is the second year Brookshire Brothers has joined the initiative and worked with the student organization to help fight hunger in our area.

Texas A&M student-athletes are asking for your help to collect donations for the Brazos Valley Food Bank. You can text AGGIESCAN to 83200 to donate monetarily through November 17 or purchase any non-perishable food item to donate between now and November 7. Collection bins are available at the front of the store for an easy drop-off.

Plus, we’re making it easier than ever to assist those in need! For just $10, customers can purchase and donate a Brown Bag of Hope – a paper bag full of enough food to feed a family of four. The bags are already made up for your utmost convenience and are available at all Brookshire Brothers locations.

At the Aggies men’s basketball game at Reed Arena on November 7, Brookshire Brothers will also donate $2,000 to benefit the Brazos Valley Food Bank. We are proud to once again help this organization as they celebrate more than two decades of giving back to the community.
