Retail Management Certificate
Thanks to a valuable partnership with WAFC (Western Association of Food Chains), employee owners across Brookshire Brothers now have the opportunity to participate in the Retail Management Certificate program.

This certificate program is a management leadership initiative designed to cultivate career success. The program consists of eight classes tailored specifically to support the retail/wholesale grocery industry. Upon successful completion, participants will receive approximately 24 hours of college credit as well as a Certificate of Completion from Brookshire Brothers and the college attended. Furthermore, the earned credit can be applied towards an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree for students who wish to continue their education. For more information about the specific courses and why you should enroll, click here.

"I signed up for the Retail Management Certificate Program because I wanted to improve myself so that I can be a better asset to my company and a better role model for my co-workers. This certificate will benefit me in my career by teaching me how to handle different aspects of managing the diversity that comes with today’s work environment. The course is not overwhelming, but you do have to be dedicated to giving it the time needed so that you can get the most out of what you are studying and complete the assignments in a timely manner. I would recommend this course to any Brookshire Brothers employee because it is always a good thing to further your education and these courses can also apply towards a bachelor’s degree, not to mention that our company will pay for the course as well."

Once an applicant is approved for the program, Brookshire Brothers will pay for all tuition and books. All courses are online, so approved students must have a computer and any Microsoft programs required for the classes (i.e. Microsoft Word, etc).  If you have any questions about the program, please contact Tina Randolph in Human Resources at trandolph@brookshirebros.com or 936-634-8155; 4569.
