EMPLOYEE HONESTY AND INTEGRITY

We have accepted you as an employee with the fact in mind that your honesty and integrity are of the highest levels. It is against Company policy for any employee, vendor, or customer to take or consume merchandise without first paying the full and correct price prior to consumption. It is each employee’s responsibility to inform Management if they observe a person discounting, or taking money or merchandise without paying for it. This applies to co-workers, vendors or customers. Employees are entrusted with the handling of money and confidential information. Employees are not to discuss confidential information entrusted to them. When dishonest acts or unauthorized disclosure of confidential information by an employee are discovered, it may lead to discharge and perhaps legal prosecution of that employee. In the event that such a discovery is made, the following is generally the process that will be used:

• Thorough questioning and investigation, by the Store Director, Asset Protection, or other member of Management may occur.

• Restitution may be required.

• The guilty party is subject to immediate discharge.

• Facts surrounding discharge may be part of the employee’s permanent record.

• The Company may file criminal charges against the employee.

• The Company reserves the right to pursue civil remedies to recover losses.
